Dr. Nancy A. Roell, Ed. D
I have lived in the St. Pius X Parish since December of 1971 and attended Mass here. I taught here from 1974-79 and then moved onto Northeast ISD for 25 years and then to San Antonio College from the Fall of 2004 until 2021. My six children also attended St. Pius X. Over the years, I have taught both English and Mathematics. I have been involved in the St. Vincent de Paul Ministry, been a member of the Pastoral Council and am currently involved in the new Catholics Returning Home Ministry.
We will be using the Prentice Hall Algebra I textbook and elements from the IXL online program. Homework will vary between these two sources, but will follow the topics from the textbook . Prentice Hall Algebra I Current Planning is to devote three classroom weeks to each chapter. Given some variation in needed time on task, Chapters I-V will be included on the Comprehensive Test in December.
