Welcome to St. Pius X Catholic School in San Antonio, where our Catholic identity is at the heart of all that we do. We are committed to providing an authentically Catholic education that recognizes each child as uniquely created in the image and likeness of God. The traditions and sacramental life of the Church are woven into our school week, guiding our students as they grow spiritually, academically, and socially.

At St. Pius X, we hold high expectations for student effort in every area—from academics and athletics to leadership and service—while ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed through our Building Strong Foundations Program. Our students participate in daily religion classes, Catholic faith–based field trips throughout San Antonio, and meaningful leadership opportunities during school Masses and Sunday Masses at St. Pius X. Academics are a priority, and our school is staffed by degreed, certified teachers dedicated to excellence. Spanish instruction begins in kindergarten, continues weekly through elementary school, is required in middle school, and eighth-grade students may earn high school credit in courses such as Spanish I and Algebra I.

I am honored to serve as principal of St. Pius X Catholic School and began here in the fall of 2022. My career in education began as a kindergarten teacher, and for more than 25 years I have served in K–12 schools as an administrator, including campus principal and superintendent. I earned a Doctor of Education from The University of Texas with a focus on K–12 leadership, and I attended Catholic school myself for many years at Holy Angels Catholic School in San Angelo, Texas.
