The Extended Day Program is provided as a service to parents as an extension of the school day for PreK-3 through 8th grade.
Extended Day Overview: Afternoon Extended Day begins at 3:15p.m. and ends at 6:00p.m. On Early Dismissal days, it begins at 12:00p.m. The program includes limited homework time, outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, board games, and snack time. Students are grouped according to age for all activities.
All school policies remain in effect during the Extended Day Program. Students who have difficulty behaving appropriately in Extended Day will receive consequences ranging from time out, up to being temporarily or permanently prevented from attending Extended Day.
Extended Day workers are not concurrently monitoring children in the SPXCDC while they are responsible for the school-aged children during the Extended Day program.

- Fun-filled activities
- Homework tIme
- Age-appropriate games
- Seasonal arts and crafts
- Organized sports and outside recreational time
- Board games
- Along with a variety of other activities that supplement our education programs at St. Pius X Catholic School

Extended Day is available the first day of school, and Full-Time Extended Day includes early dismissal days as well. Extended Day is ALWAYS available for families who may need drop-in care.
- Monthly charges: (billed the 1st of each month (September to May), 9 payments)
- Drop-in Charges: billed every Friday
- Supply fee will be billed in FACTS.
- Sign out will be in the Extended Day Room (by the breezeway)
- All families will need to show ID when picking up for the first few weeks
