Our Cheerleading ProgramThe St. Pius X Cheerleading Program provides students with the opportunity to develop school spirit, leadership, teamwork, and athletic skills in a positive and faith-filled environment.
Open to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade, the program includes both Pep Squad and Competition Squad opportunities, allowing students to participate at a level that matches their experience and interests.
Cheerleaders attend weekly practices to build strong fundamentals in motions, jumps, stunts, chants, and routines while promoting good sportsmanship and responsibility. Members proudly support our school by cheering at athletic events and representing St. Pius X at community and school functions.
Students participating on the Competition Squad also have the opportunity to showcase their skills at local cheer competitions. Through dedication, perseverance, and teamwork, cheerleaders build confidence while encouraging and inspiring others. Above all, our cheerleading program strives to foster school pride and exemplify the values of faith, respect, and excellence both on and off the performance floor.
